Our client is seeking for a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join their team in Lagos and Port Harcourt. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate medication records. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness within the community.

Job Requirement/Qualification: 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience working as a pharmacist in a healthcare setting, preferably in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, their uses, dosages, and interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and maintaining records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and software for prescription processing and inventory management.
• Dedication to providing high-quality patient care and promoting positive health outcomes.

Job Responsibility: 

Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently by prescriptions issued by authorized healthcare providers.
• Provide counseling to patients regarding the appropriate use and possible side effects of medications.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication therapy management.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse reactions.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical supplies, and oversee the storage and handling of medications to ensure their integrity and safety.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the practice of pharmacy, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay informed about new developments in pharmacology and healthcare practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote health education and awareness, including conducting health screenings and wellness programs.
